No trip to Thailand is complete without having a ride in one of its signature modes of transport – the tuk-tuk. Take a spin around the Thai capital in one of these open-air vehicles.

This customisable tuk-tuk sightseeing tour will take you to the most famous Bangkok landmarks, showcasing the best of the old town and some of the city’s top attractions. Pass by Wat Suthat, one of the oldest and most historical temples, and the Giant Swing at its entrance. The journey continues to Wat Saket, otherwise known as ‘The temple of the Golden Mount’. It is famous for its 80-metre-high hill called Golden Mount, which was once the highest point in Bangkok. The gilded stupa on the top that exists today dates back to the reign of King Rama V. The huge chedi contains relics of the Buddha that were brought from India. To reach the stupa on top of the Golden Mount (offering great views of Bangkok in all directions) requires a hill climb of 318 steps. On the platforms to the top, there is a line of large prayer bells and a giant gong. Afterwards, cruise to the whitewashed Mahakan Fort, which is one of the two surviving citadels that defended the old walled city. Pass by Loha Prasat, a Buddhist temple complex, home to a Loha Prasat, known as the ‘metal castle’ for its 37 iron spires. Continue riding to the Grand Palace, which is undoubtedly the most famous landmark in Bangkok. It was built in 1782 and, for 150 years, was the home of the Thai King, the Royal Court and the administrative seat of government. The last stop would be a glance at the Bangkok Flower Market (Pak Klong Talad), the largest wholesale and retail fresh-flower market in Thailand.
